Tree-Top Irrigation for Wildfire Prevention

Using fire-resistant hose and brass fittings, we are able to install various types of sprinkler heads on large trees in fire prone areas.

Our WiFi smart controllers allow you to turn on the sprinkler from anywhere in the world, allowing you to turn it on without being home. The sprinkler can also be programmed on a timer to go based on a schedule that suits you best.

With help from a highly trained arborist, we are able to put sprinklers on almost any tree that has a water supply nearby.

These projects are new to us and require high amounts of planning, but we enjoy doing them and preventing wildfires! We service any area that is prone to wildfires such as Bragg Creek, Canmore, Banff, Jasper, and surrounding area.

  • We use stainless steel hose ran up the tree to allow for movement and changes in the branch pattern without straining the line.

    At the top we install brass fittings that won’t be damaged by the sun attached to a long riser that is strapped to the tree trunk for stability.

    WiFi irrigation controllers are used so that the sprinkler can be turned on remotely in the event you are not home.

  • We determine if the project is feasible by calculating pressure loss caused by height increase at the top of the tree.

    Most of our sprinklers require at least 20 psi to run properly, so if pressure at the top of the tree will be less than that we install in-line pumps to increase pressure and flow to the sprinkler nozzle.

  • We work with a highly trained arborist that has obtained all necessary safety designations and experience required to climb the tree without causing any invasive damage in the process.

  • Yes, our WiFi controllers allow you to turn on the sprinkler from anywhere in the world as long as the WiFi in the house is hooked up.

    The sprinkler can also be programmed to go on a schedule that is easily changed from your phone.

  • We are based out of Calgary, but can complete projects anywhere in Alberta or BC. Travel time is billed hourly as part of the project cost.
